Ultimate Pro League Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to our vibrant gaming community! To ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all members, we have established comprehensive rules and guidelines. Please read them carefully and adhere to these standards for a harmonious environment.

Important: These rules are designed to maintain fair play, respect, and enjoyment for all members. Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.
1. Community Conduct & Respect

All community members, including administrators, are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity.

  • Disruptive, abusive, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances
  • Spamming forums, chat channels, or any communication platform is strictly prohibited
  • Advertising similar websites or competing leagues within our community is forbidden
  • Racism, discrimination, hate speech, or bullying will result in immediate and permanent bans
  • Constructive criticism is welcome, but personal attacks or harassment are not
  • If you encounter any issues, report them immediately to administrators or moderators
2. Fair Play & In-Game Conduct

Fair play is the cornerstone of our league. All players must adhere to these fundamental principles.

  • Custom formations with 5 or more defenders (5-at-the-back) are strictly prohibited
  • Time-wasting tactics including standing still for extended periods, excessive back-passing, or deliberate stalling are forbidden
  • Teams must use appropriate naming conventions that reflect the league's professional standards
  • A minimum of 4 players is required to participate in any official match
  • Glitched players, 99-rated pros, or any artificially enhanced players are not allowed
  • Managers are responsible for ensuring all gamer tags match the official roster before kick-off
  • Cheating, exploiting game mechanics, or using unauthorized modifications will result in immediate bans
  • Unnecessary disputes or arguments during matches should be avoided - report issues to staff instead
3. Information & Transparency

Holding vital information related to the community, players, or staff is considered a serious offense.

  • Full cooperation is expected when questioned by administrators or moderators
  • Refusing to answer legitimate questions about rule violations or community issues will result in consequences
  • Deliberately withholding information that could prevent rule violations is not acceptable
  • All members should report suspicious activity or potential rule violations promptly
4. Staff & Leadership Positions

We have established procedures for those interested in contributing to the community leadership.

  • Persistent requests for moderator or admin positions are discouraged and may result in warnings
  • If interested in a vacancy, submit a formal Manager's or Admin Application for consideration
  • Applications are reviewed based on activity, community contribution, and demonstrated leadership
  • Staff positions are earned through consistent positive contribution to the community
5. Assistant Managers & Team Leadership

Assistant managers play a crucial role in team management and must be chosen carefully.

  • Assistant managers can take control of all aspects of a manager's responsibilities
  • Reporting accurate results and statistics is mandatory and must be done promptly
  • Managers must remain active and maintain regular communication with their team members
  • Disruptive or inactive managers face removal from their position
  • Quitting a managerial position without proper handover may result in temporary bans
  • Assistant managers should be selected based on trustworthiness and reliability
6. Disciplinary System & Suspensions

Our disciplinary system is designed to maintain fair play and sportsmanship.

  • Straight red cards result in an automatic 2-game suspension
  • Accumulating two yellow cards in a single match leads to a 1-game suspension
  • 5 yellow cards accumulated over multiple matches result in a 1-game suspension
  • 10 yellow cards accumulated over multiple matches result in a 2-game suspension
  • Stats obtained while playing as CPU or ANY-controlled players do not count towards individual statistics
  • Repeated violations may result in extended suspensions or permanent bans
  • Appeals can be submitted to the admin panel for review
7. Staff Behavior & Responsibilities

All staff members are held to the highest standards of conduct and professionalism.

  • Staff members must show respect to all community members at all times
  • Abuse of administrative powers is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal
  • Staff decisions should be fair, consistent, and based on established rules
  • Community members are encouraged to show staff the respect they deserve for their contributions

We balance player freedom with team stability through clear transfer policies.

  • Managers are not obligated to grant release requests and may deny them
  • Players can request transfers to other teams
  • Managers have the right to deny transfers if they don't benefit the team
  • Constructive criticism of team management is allowed unless it becomes offensive or disruptive
  • Transfer windows and deadlines must be respected by all parties
9. Managerial Rights & Responsibilities

Managers have specific rights and responsibilities to maintain team stability.

  • Managers have the right to sign and release players according to established procedures
  • During ongoing manager votes, signings and releases are frozen for at least 1 day
  • Attempting to interfere with another team's player trials violates Fair Play rules
  • Managers must maintain active communication with their team and staff
  • Managers are responsible for ensuring their team follows all league rules
  • Managerial decisions should prioritize team success and fair play
10. Managerial Changes & Succession

When managerial changes occur, we have established procedures to ensure team continuity.

  • When a manager steps down, finding a replacement is mandatory
  • Replacement managers can be selected from free agents or current team members
  • Failure to find a replacement may result in team suspension or manager bans
  • Past managers must remain with the team for a minimum of 1 full season after stepping down
  • A past manager's suitability to manage again is subject to admin panel review and vote
  • Proper handover procedures must be followed when managerial changes occur
11. Match Reports & Statistics

Accurate and timely reporting is essential for maintaining league integrity.

  • All team sheets must be posted at least 5 minutes before kick-off; later submissions may result in default losses
  • Both game statistics must be posted by 10 PM on match day or no stats will be recorded (result still stands)
  • Any roster member can post team sheets and stats if the manager or co-manager is unavailable
  • Teams may request up to 10 minutes delay, posted in the correct area 5 minutes before original kick-off
  • Late requests or team sheets will be evaluated by the admin team on a case-by-case basis
  • We highly recommend recording game clips with timestamps for dispute resolution
  • Accurate reporting helps maintain fair competition and proper statistical tracking
12. Player Signings & Contracts

Player signings must follow established procedures to ensure proper team management.

  • Players can only be added to team rosters through formal contract offers
  • Either the manager or co-manager must send a contract to the player
  • Contracts must be accepted by the player before they can participate in matches
  • All signings must comply with transfer window regulations and team size limits
  • Contract terms should be clearly communicated to all parties involved
13. Player Sales & Transfers

Player transfers must follow fair market practices and established procedures.

  • Players can only be sold for a maximum of double their base value
  • Players can be sold in the first transfer window after playing 4 games
  • Player sales require agreement from both managers or co-managers involved
  • Players transferred between teams in the same league retain all existing stats for that season
  • Transfer fees must be reasonable and reflect player value fairly
  • All transfers must be properly documented and approved by staff

  • Loan fees are standardized: £1M for half-season loans, £2M for full-season loans
  • Players can only be loaned for a minimum of half a season and maximum of 1 full season
  • Loan agreements require consent from both managers or co-managers
  • Loaned players retain all existing stats when moving between teams in the same league
  • Loan terms must be clearly defined and agreed upon by all parties
  • Early termination of loans may result in penalties or restrictions
